July Art Journaling Sneak Peeks:
It's only the 8th July and I have a lot of things planned for this month already. I have started playing around with the collage sheets I downloaded as part of Mrs Brimbles patreon reward tiers. They are great, I love collage art and can't wait to get the full video and art work finished. This is still a work in progress and is not even nearly completed, but here is a sneak peek. You can join the patreon page here www.patreon.com/mrsbrimbles. There will be a full post and video on this on the 31st July so be sure to subscribe. I will also be uploading a flip book process video to my You Tube Channel for a snail/happy mail I have sent out this week.
In addition to the Mrs Brimbles art work, I bought a Cosmo Cricket TN folder and have finally had the time to add some watercolour paint to it. It was a bit messy in places so I covered it with a doily - (a happy accident). I've still got to paint the inside, but it will get finished eventually.
June Art Journaling Review
For June I started doing a few bits of art journaling starting with some doodling and watercolour of the 'Sketchy Girls' from Mrs Brimbles Patreon tutorials - I won't post all that I have created as this will be part of the full blog post at the end of the month as well.
Phew, busy, busy, busy I also go on holiday from the 31st July for two blissful weeks in Spain, I can't wait. Don't worry I can still take part in the journal challenges from my sun lounger by the pool ._.
Take Care everyone and keep creating
The Planner Society Plan With Me Video:
As well as the front cover of the notebook, I also decorated the inside cover and added a functional pocket to house some of my lovely Planner Society stickers that were sent as part of the happy mail. Have a look below at my PWM process video. If you are viewing this from a reader or email please click the following link:
Creative Journaling - The Planner Society April Kit
I really love the finished product and managed to decorate the cover and inside cover and still managed to save the lovely flip book and have goodies left over. I'm going to use it as a journal, not daily, but a place to write down my thoughts when I need to or feel the urge. I'm just waiting for my new Jane Davenport Travelers Notebook to arrive now which will be it's new home ._.
Hopefully this post has inspired you to use your Planner Society and ephemera/papers for something other than your planner and to help you if you have been hoarding the pretties. Do pop me a comment below to let me know what you think or over on the You Tube video.
Have a great week,
It's been 6 months since I last shared a flip through of my Travelers Notebook every day planner (my Uglydori), so I thought it would be a great idea to post another video update as part of the 6 monthly review post for the Planner Girls Collective showing my current setup for June 2017 and my weekly and monthly layouts.
Travelers Notebook Flip Through Video:
Travelers Notebook Setup:
There have been lots of changes since my last share, some new things put in, some things taken out, a whole new collection of inserts, dashboard dividers and updated pages for my weekly and monthly planner pages, layouts and spreads. The dividers, tabs and general set up uses the gorgeous travelers notebook kit from Isabelle The Owl and it is stunning, with the clip from Shona at Away With Fairies Co.
Travelers Notebook Inserts:
I have also added some gorgeous inserts from Susie Bray, a blog planner and a Pr Tracker. Visit the fb group and message Susie to order. Use code KERRY10 for 10% off.
Finally I have added some vellum inserts with my own pixel art work on them, they didn't print very well (printing on vellum is hard without a laser printer), but I still like how they look and like to have some of my own art work in my planner.

Woo hoo, so proud to announce that I made it on to the Mrs Brimbles Arty Creative Team with these other amazing creatives, so exciting. I would have posted earlier, but I have been so busy at work these last few weeks with Ofsted inspectors and a faculty review.
I can't wait to share with you all the arty creations and hope that I can do them justice. It is the kick I need actually to get back in to art journaling and doodling, as other than creative journaling I have done very little art of late.
I will be sharing my creations from Mrs Brimbles exclusive Patreon content which you can check out here - www.patreon.com/mrsbrimbles

I can't wait to get started
Yay my first unboxing of Susie Bray's amazing Travelers Notebook planner inserts which come in an array of weekly, monthly, blank, dot and grid layouts from the amazing Queen Mabel & Doris on Facebook and soon on Etsy.

Psst... what do you think of my snazzy scissors too? I love them, a complete Ebay bargain!
This weeks post for the Planner Girls Collective is an FAQ post. We have put together some planner/blogging questions as a group and answered them in our posts. So here goes...
Why did you start your blog?
I used to have a website years ago and I really missed posting and updating it after 6 years of not doing anything on the web, so thought now I had got into crafting and planning that it was the perfect time to start a blog. I also set up You Tube Channel at the same time. By the way my You Tube channel this week has hit 100 subscribers - thank you so much (I now have my own link too ._.)
Other than planning do you do other crafts?
Oh yes. I'm really in to art journaling and creative journaling. I just love creating memory pages as you can see in a variety of my blog posts here Art Journaling Series and here Creative Journaling. You can also join my art journaling group Kerrymay._.Makes a Mess
If money was no object, what planner would you use?
Now then...I would love a Kate Spade planner for the aesthetics, but honestly I don't think I would use it as the planner style itself is not for me with the zipped rings. I would also love a Foxy Fix and a real Midori. However, the real midori is quite flimsy and has no pockets, so not sure that would for me either.
How many planners do you currently own? And how many are presently in use?
I currently have three travelers notebook style planners; a Lyradori for my art journaling and travel journals, an Uglydori for my everyday planning, weekly, monthly, health tracker and bullet journal inserts. I then have an unbranded leather tn for work, again with weekly, monthly and a blank insert. I also have an A5 Carpe Diem, but it is currently still housing my inserts from last year until I buy an A5 folder to transfer them to.
Who is your planner idol? Whose planners/planning style do you aspire to?
Oh several people are my planner idols. Jo from Little Rainbow Moon, I love her watercolours and planning style. Anna Brim (Mrs Brimbles), she is just so creative. Michelle Mills for her entrepreneur qualities, Queen Stephanie Mulcahy, for her all time planner godessness! (I like making up words), Christy Tomlinson for her awesome creativity with the Planner Society things I wish I could afford.
Favourite Facebook Planner Groups?
My all time favourite is UKPA (UK Planner Addicts), which is currently back as a secret group), and Mrs Brimbles Happy Place. Both of these groups have inspired me so much and I would never have started blogging, planning, crafting and creating art if it wasn't for these.
Would love to hear some of your answers - simply comment below.

A very short blog post today to share my Plan With Me process video of my weekly layout and planner pages. I used the gorgeous Flamingo weekly kit from www.hazydaysuk.etsy.com and it is stunning. Have a look at the process/PWM video below. Use code KERRY15 to grab a kit from Kelly's shop. Video is below or you can visit directly at https://youtu.be/hjUzcuWPo7A
I hope that you enjoyed the video, I finally have got the filming just right, much clearer on my phone than on my HDD video camera. It has been such a boring few weeks for my planner in terms of what I am writing in it, I haven't been out, just work, work and more work :( Oh well just 6 weeks till the summer holidays - yay!
I hope that you can subscribe to my You Tube Channel - just 7 more subs needed to get to 100 and my own name link instead of numbers. Thanks for the amazing support in getting me there.

So how has your weeks planning gone? Busy week? Boring week? Too much work week?
That time of year has arrived... the yearly dreaded weight loss and fitness regime of June and July. I realise that I can't put it off any longer and I have put 4lbs on over the last two weeks, so what better way to motivate myself than through a personalised Fitness Tracker / Journal / Planner. See how I have set up my fitness journal, how I am tracking my Weekly and Monthly goals and have a look at the freebie downloadable printables I have found on the internet.
Firstly I set up my goals and motivational page with my three main targets. I do have weight loss targets as well as exercise, but for me it's always exercise where I see the change. I am finding it much harder to lose weight from dieting now I have reached 40. Next I added some motivational stickers from the lovely Little Rainbow Moon (see link at the bottom of the post).
I then printed some amazing freebie downloads that I saved to Pinterest. I have a Fitness Journal album you can follow here (pinned with all sorts of goodies and some great websites). I now have a page that I add my weight and measurements to in order to try to get my 8 week goal. I find this all gives me the motivation I need to actually see my plans through. If I was just exercising without logging it, I probably would give up after a week.
Next I added my weekly page complete with the exercise completed and a Health Tracker printable from Cute Daisy. So I don't get bored I have added a variety of strength and body weight exercises in a handy list so I can mix things up a little. My plan is to have a go at cardio twice a week and stretches/yoga/body weight exercises daily for a max of ten minutes a day. I did this daily from January to September last year and really toned up. Stickers are from Hazy Days UK and Lilybeaches. Finally I added a yoga tracker and a 2 week up date for my inch and weight loss (all links below). Now all I need is a Fitbit!
