What to buy a stationery lover? Paper, notebooks, pens, washi tape??? OMG, it is so easy to buy for a lover of all things paper, I literally think I am the easiest person to buy for and with so many shops now stocking amazing stationery it is easier then ever, the hardest part is narrowing it down.
2. Paper - any type of paper, or a mix of papers, watercolour if they like art, mixed media paper, vellum, tissue paper, Dovecraft scrapbooking papers, notebooks - lined or plain, traveler's notebooks, moleskine cahier notebooks... the list is endless.
3. Pencil cases and pouches. Websters do a great pouch, but I have a cheap AliExpress one and I love it, it holds so much. See my Planner Pouch What's in my Bag Post here.
4. PLANNERS - of course. I love my Uglydori Travelers Notebook style planner from Michelle and Trevor at Ugly Bug Plans. Other lush planners include Kikki K, Carpe Diem and Websters Pages (all available in the UK).
5. Stickers, woo hoo I love planner stickers, check out my Favourite Stationery Shops here.
6. Ephemera and Journaling Cards. Ephemera is cut up pieces of strong paper in pretty patterns or die cuts to use in your journaling/scrapbooks and planners. My faves are from Mrs Brimbles and Little Rainbow Moon (also tagged in the above link). I love the Project Life style journaling cards, make your own here - Paint Your Own Watercolour Journaling Cards.
7. Stamps, ink sprays and pads - you may also want an acrylic block to hold the cling stamps. I get mine very cheaply again from AliExpress online, which is great if you don't mind waiting up to four weeks for delivery.
8. Acrylic paint, watercolour paint (I love my watercolour Wheel from the Tate Gallery) and watercolour brushes. The 3 pack of Pentel Aquash waterbrushes are brilliant.
So, no excuses, when buying for a stationery lovers birthday, Christmas, Mothers Day or any other gift buying event approaches, you know just what to get... you could even get them all 10 (wink).

On Wednesday a few of the lovely UKPA (UK Planner Addicts) planner girls organised a small meet up in Mansfield (UK) to eat cake and talk planners. This has become a regular meet up for us East Midland girls. We meet up most school holidays to catch up, show off our planners and share swaps and goodies. I love how friendly the planner community is in the UK and have met a lot of new friends in the short time that I have been a part of it. I'm just still disappointed no one would have an afternoon tea with me - I am a greedy guts! Hahaha (only joking girls).
We always meet up in the delightful Little Sugar Shack and then head out into town for a little 'boutique' shopping (ahem...charity shops), then usually head in to Mansfield for a scout around The Works, Poundland and Primark. Check out my video below for my first ever haul video, where I will share the goodies I purchased and the freebies shared.
Next on my list is the fabulous Pamper and Plan event, which is now sold out. This is run/organised by Michelle from Ugly Bug Plans, Kelly from Hazy Days UK and Leanne from The Geeky Planner. I can't wait to meet new people and enjoy my first big planner event... not to mention the crafts, planning, relaxation and spa! It looks like it is going to be a great event and I have already planned it all out in my planner of course.
So, have you been to any planner meet up's? Have you got any planned in the pipeline? - Leave a comment below ._. xxxx
As a stationery lover, I admit I have a 'slight' obsession (hahaha) with buying new stationery and planner kits and accessories, so this post as part of the 'Planner Girls Collective' has me excited. Join me as I share my favourite online and high street planner shops.
1. MRS BRIMBLES / THE BRIMBLES BOX
I first found my love for planning at Mrs Brimbles Happy Place group on facebook and promptly signed up for the Brimbles Box (monthly planner, stationery and journaling kit). Anna Brim has gorgeous kits, great for journaling and planner-aholics alike. I love that they now have scrapbook papers for creating journal covers, dashboards and journaling cards. I also like the variety of the kits. Some months have ephemera or cling stamps, whilst others are more planner focused with extra stickers or planner clips. She also has great stock in her online shop - a haven for stationery, planner and scrapbook lovers.

2. HAZY DAYS UK
5I love Kelly's stickers and have recently had the pleasure of becoming a Design Team Member, so exciting. I bought a gorgeous Book Lovers set from Kelly and am in awe of how good her stickers are (amazing quality and variety). I am also in the love with the princess set I was sent as part of the DT package. The new Boho and Sailor range are next on my list to sample. Be sure to check out the shop below and join the facebook group here for future updates and chat.

3. UGLY BUG PLANS (formerly Ugly Bug Does)
I love Michelle's shop, now home of the amazing Uglydori travelers notebooks. I've been a member of her facebook The Ugly Bug(gers) for quite a while now and it is such a fun place, with lovely people. I have bought a few of her Monthly kits, including a superhero set and an art journaling monthly kit. I also adore my Uglydori planner, which you can check out here.

4. LITTLE RAINBOW MOON
Jo has a gorgeous shop on Etsy and a great facebook group (Over the Rainbow). I have bought quite a few bits from Jo's shops, including some gorgeous washi and a brilliant teacher planner sticker set for work. I was also fortunate enough to win a fantastic instagram prize of £50 of shop credit, so got to sample her monthly kits and gorgeous hand painted watercolour stickers and ephemera.

5. TRAVELERS TIMES & LYRA and CO
My two favourite go to shops for journals are Travelers Times and Lyra & Co (both on Etsy). I got my first tn from Lyra and Co, a gorgeous extra wide hand made fabric travelers notebook. I use travelers Times for buying my notebooks, the paper is great quality, so glossy and perfect for gel and fountain pens. They also so cheap (despite the great quality) and can be ordered in blank, lined, dot or grid (my top choice). They also do a variety of inserts such as pre-printed diaries, monthly and lists.

FAVOURITE HIGH STREET STATIONERY SHOPS:
I have several go to planner and journaling shops on the high street. I love a good mooch around The Range (although my purse doesn't seem to like it). Home Bargains and B&M have some great buys for stationery including rose gold goodies (faints). Poundshops, Lidl and Aldi all often have great stationery bargains on a seasonal basis. My all time favourite high street shop though is Wilkos (can you tell I love a bargain) I love that I can get all my art goodies, paint, watercolour paper and stickers, pens and notebooks all in one place for a great price. I must admit I have never been to Paperchase or Kikki K, so I'm sure they would be up there if I had.
I also buy a lot of planner and art goodies from Amazon for my art/journaling and from AliExpress for extremely cheap washi tape and stickers (if you are prepared to wait). I don't have an Hobbycraft near to me, so I often order online from there, they do great sketchbooks. Then of course there's The Works... ok I will stop now.
If you haven't visited any of the shops I've mentioned be sure to check them out and have a read of the other posts in the Planner Girls Collective series by popping over the the other great bloggers pages. Let me know of any gems I may have missed in the comments below.
See you soon,
Last month I won the most amazing prize on Instagram, £50 of shop credit for Jo's Little Rainbow Moon Etsy store. I have never really won anything before so was 'over the moon' if you will pardon the pun. I of course had to order one of Jo's gorgeous Monthly Planner Kits (I ordered October's). Everything in the kit is so well made and Jo's art work is stunning. All of Jo's kits and everything she sells in her shop is hand painted by Jo herself using watercolours. I cannot tell you how vivid the colours are and the stickers are some of the best quality stickers I have used.
Click below for my first ever unboxing video (hate my voice) of my entire beautiful haul for you to peruse below. Feel free to subscribe to my channel for more videos in the coming few weeks.
Everything about the goodies, in particular the Monthly Kit shown here is so beautiful. I am a big journaling fan, as well as a general crafter and planner, so I love kits that come with ephemera, quote cards and box quote stickers. I have missed off the gorgeous leaf charm in the video and photo as I have left it on my work planner. I don't go into a lot of detail regarding the kit as I know there are lots of unboxings of it already in the Planner Community, so have tried to show the other gorgeous items I have received.
I am so excited to use Jo's goodies, I'm like a child in a toy shop. I will try to get a few journal process videos up and be sure to check my Instagram for pictures of how I have used the items. Thank you so much Jo - eternally grateful.
